Vintage Lunch 2015
Friday, 18 December 2015
Kambala Old Girls from 1939 to 1964 were invited to return to the School for the annual Vintage Luncheon on Wednesday 28th October, 2015.

Commencing with drinks in the Drawing Room in the Tivoli building, attendees then meandered down to Hampshire House and enjoyed a delicious lunch, the harbour view and wonderful company.

Master of Ceremonies, KOGU President Melinda (Thew) Hudson ’80 started proceedings by introducing Sally Herman ‘74, Kambala Council President and daughter of Pamela (Chauncy) Herman ’47, who welcomed the group.

Principal, Debra Kelliher spoke about the vision for the school, sparking a lot of excitement and enthusiasm.

Mary McCullagh ’45 said Grace and Catherine (Saywell) Harris ‘59 proposed a beautiful and heartfelt toast to the school, which had everyone laughing, crying and singing.  An emotive rendition of the School Song also had many in tears.

The day was a huge success and we have been overwhelmed by the many messages of congratulations and thanks from KOGs who attended.  We also greatly appreciated the lovely notes from those unable to attend and their generous donations to KOGU and the Kambala Building Foundation.

Always a highlight on the KOGU calendar, we are already looking forward to next year's event.
