So many hats!

From Dr Kathryn Hillier - Kambala Archives:

The project to photograph all the ‘relics’ in the Kambala Archives continues in earnest. Many of the relics are classified as “uniform” and at least 50 of these are hats or hat bands! The 1990s sports hats are the daggy legionnaire style hat: very good for sun protection, but not very stylish. My favourite hat so far has been the borders’ beret, ca 1950-1965. I think that the girls would have looked very chic in these. However, I have yet to find a photograph of a girl actually wearing the hat. Scanning the photograph collection will be the next major project.
