Class of 1977 40 Year Reunion
Tuesday, 20 September 2017
50 girls from the Class of 1977 celebrated their 40 year reunion on Saturday 16th September 2017 with a lunch at Vaucluse House Tearooms.

Girls had travelled from their homes in Port Douglas, Newcastle, Canberra, Oberon and Goulburn and Jo-Anne (Prineas) Kelleway returned from a business meeting in Hong Kong on Saturday morning, especially for the reunion. Apologies were received from girls currently living and working in Switzerland - Eva (Virag) Virag-Jansen, New York - Deb (Donnelley) Wheeler as well as from girls travelling – including Robyn (Epstein) Baume, Gina (Flanagan) Miller and Carol (Adamson) Writer.

The venue was delightful and the warm spring weather allowed the girls to gather together outside for a group photo, taken by two patient Year 10 students who volunteered their services on the day.

The celebrations continued well past the finish time of 3pm. Josie (Thomas) Gurney opened her home for the 15 boarders to gather and continue the reminiscing, sharing many stories and giggles – especially while reading Wendy Croaker’s detailed letters home to her parents.

The day and evening ended with many saying – can’t wait for the next one....
