Class of 1987 30 Year Reunion
Sunday, 18 September 2017

The Class of 1987 celebrated their 30 Year Reunion on 12 August 2017 at the Centennial Hotel.

Approximately 45 Old Girls attended, with people travelling from the world’s wide spaces including Queensland, Perth, Broome, New Zealand and LA.

Girls from the Class of '87 had gone on to work in a wide variety of fields: running lodges in Africa, air traffic control, marketing, psychology, industrial relations, finance, IT, vet science, accounting, law, medicine, running businesses and teaching.

Thanks to Facebook, they had shared many (very eighties) old school photos in the lead up to the event so it was hard not to feel nostalgic.  Many thanks go to Tina Clark for superb organisation including an amusing survey, and to Libby Rough for finding the Year 12 video which brought back memories of Alexander Hall as it was then.

In that year the school had been proudly celebrating the centenary of Kambala, and now of course the school is celebrating its 130th anniversary.

At the reunion, they also paid tribute to their classmate Sophia Bates who sadly passed away in 2016.
