KAMBALA OLD GIRLS

Kambala Old Girls (KOG) is the official association for former students who completed part or all of their education at Kambala. All former students are considered Kambala Old Girls (KOGs).

Formed in 1896, KOG aims to engage and support Kambala Old Girls to maintain a meaningful connection with each other and Kambala, striving to connect all Old Girls wherever they live. Events in Sydney, regional NSW, London and New York evidence a deep, global network of KOGs and we are always looking for new ways to reach out and strengthen these connections.

Servicing a strong and diverse community of more than 7,500 women, KOG offers an active portfolio of events annually with experiences for all ages, from Young Old Girls (YOGs) right up to Vintage Old Girls (VOGs) who left Kambala 50+ years ago. The KOG Business Network, internship opportunities and mentoring programs have joined the array of reunions and social events that Connect and Celebrate the Kambala community.

We support our Young Old Girls (YOGs) even before they leave Kambala, providing LinkedIn and interview skills training, preparing them for their tertiary training and early careers. The hugely popular Year 13 Music Festival event at the Sydney Opera House kick starts a dedicated post school program including annual social gatherings designed to link several cohorts, an internship program focused on current University students and recent graduates and a mentoring program linking younger women in business with successful KOGs who share their wealth of knowledge.

Opportunities abound to reach out to other KOGs – join us for the Business Network breakfasts to promote yourself and your career. International events include cocktail gatherings and The Linden Fellowship scholarship in New York. Regional lunches bring the country and city together while the Generations morning tea brings KOGs back to school with current Kambala students. The annual Vintage lunch provides the ultimate opportunity for those KOGs who left over 50 years ago to return to the school, reunite with peers and celebrate old friendships.

Stay connected to the KOG community by regularly updating your contact details and search for friends on the KOG website. Follow us on social media and participate in our mentoring and Internship programs.  Attend reunions, business networking breakfasts and social events.  Join the KOG Execo. Celebrate. Connect.
